Delaney’s father commits a crime that affects Adrian’s family forever. Both families are entirely screwed up. Delaney and Adrian are attracted to each other even though Delaney knows the truth and Adrian doesn’t. The whole book dealt with them dancing around the truth the entire time, which didn’t feel necessary. I wasn’t a fan of this book or some of the writing – I’m not a fan of writing in slang even if it’s supposed to be from a characters POV.I did appreciate that the story is all sewn up in one book and doesn’t spill out into any more like so many trilogies these days.I received this ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review.
